For the precise determination of #gamma# -ray emission probabilities of shortlived FP nuclides, a #beta# - #gamma# coincidence measurement system has been developed, which utilizes a htin plastic scintillation detector as a #beta# -ray detector. To demonstrate the performance of the developed system, it was applied to the measurement of absolute- #gamma# -ray emission probability I_( #gamma# ) of short-lieved nuclide, ~(28)Al (T_(1/2) chemical bounds 2.24 (min)), whose I_( #gamma#) is well known.
