Enhanced Multi-Channel PCM/Dolby Pro Logic Decoder System Using the Motorola Symphony DSP

摘要

This paper presents a system software solution for Multi-Channel Dolby@ Pro Logic@and PCM decoder systems using the low cost and high performance MotorolaSymphony@ DSP processor. The system software having processor MIPS to spare,allows multiple on-chip post processing phases along with a decoding function to operatesimultaneously providing cost-effective expansion of the DSP’s audio features includingsophisticated sound effects.
