Audio Watermarking of MPEG-2 AAC Bit Streams

摘要

Today music distribution of compressed audio material, e.g. over the Internet, is anincreasingly important technology. However, controlling use and further distribution ofthe delivered works is usually not possible. Within this context watermarking can providea useful mechanism to track illicit copies or to attach property rights informationto the multimedia content. This paper discusses the embedding of robust watermarksdirectly into MPEG-2 AAC bit streams such that the watermark can be detected inthe decompressed audio data.
