Direct Digital Processing of 'Super Audio CD' Signals

Efficient structures for directly processing ‘Super Audio CD’ type,signals are presented. We will first review the problems of currentapproaches. The advantages and disadvantages of processing signalsthis way are discussed. The structures are then explained and the effectsof coefficient accuracy are discussed. Examples of the methodperforming equalising transfer functions are then presented.
