The paper presents an analysis of the operation of an eight-order band-pass system derivedfrom a six-order device by adding at its input a low-pass passive filter. Two types of such filterare considered. The second type makes it possible to find solutions for quasi-maximally flat,maximally flat and equal-ripple alignments.
