The continuous cast-rolling with liquid core in cast strand, a new technology developed in 90's and concerned by many countries, was studied theoretically and experimentally in this paper. By analyzing the processes of soft reduction, heavy reduction and continuous forging and simulating the lateral spread, forward-slip and press of liquid core in a laboratory experiment, the method of controlling the mass flow rate per second was brought forward by the authors. Based on a prototype of universal wheel-strip continuous cast-rollig machine, the processes of producing H-section and channel section form cast bloom with liquid core inside were investigated on stress condition control. The creation f compressive stress in rolled strand could be considered as a sticking point of realizing continuous cast-rolling with liquid core inside smoothly.
