摘要

Mineral oil was used as the liquid dielectric in electromagneticdevice of capacitor voltage transformer (CVT) previously. At present theAlkyl Benzene oil (AB oil) is applied. However, the stray conductanceand tgδ of AB oil were once been larger. This paperstudies the practicability of the AB oil as impregnant in theelectromagnetic device, and simulated electromagnetic device has beenplaced in the AB oil and mineral oil separately. Then, specimens wereaged for 1440 h. The stray conductance and capacitance for two kinds ofspecimens (oil) are tested so that the reason of increasing the strayconductance and tgδ of impregnant can be found
