摘要

Reinforced thermoplastics processed in injection-moulding are increasinggly used for demanding compressor valve application. This paper deals with the finite element analysis of a SFRTP valve plate impacting against the valve seat. The results show that the occuring stresses strongly depend on the impact direction nad the orthotropic nd viscoelastic behaviour of the composite material. Orthotropic material data are provided by micromechanical modelling under consideraton of the fibre orientation destribution. The determinatin of the fibre orientation is performed by scanning electron microscopy with the help of polished cross-sectons and an image analysis system, whereby a special evaluation schema is used to determine the whole orientation state from one inclined cross-section.
