Axial compliance of a scroll compressor with back pressure regulating valve

摘要

For effective axial ocmpliance in a scroll ocmpressor, a new type of back pressure regulatin valve has been introduced, nad its performance has been predicted by numerical simulation. The back pressure regulating valve has a function of pressure release by discharging the oil and gas mixture in the back pressure chamber to the suction chamber when the back pressure is over a designated value, while building up of the prssure itself depends on the bearing clearances and the recess distance of the orbiting scroll. The effects of these design parameters on building up of the back prssure are estimated by the simulation.
