INITIATEUR OPTO-DETONANT A ELEMENT PROJETE CHARGE A L'HNS

摘要

A laser slapper detonator for initiation of HNS is under study. This detonator is based on a laser driven flyer plate: a laser pulse launches a thin film which travels through a short barrel and impacts a secondary explosive, creating therefore its detonation. Its characteristics allow it to be fully integrated into a pyrotechnic safe and arm unit. The purpose of this study is to understand and define functioning criteria by means of experimental and computational work.
