Statistical evaluation of EN 206 acceptance testing for the compressive strength of concrete

The study which is a part of research to elaborate the German statement to prestandard prEN 206 "Concrete -Performance, production and conformity" based on the collected data from some concrete plants and construction sites in Germany. The reasons of variation of concrete strength between the place of production and the place of delivery are discussed. The statistical investigation of these data is carried out. Taking into account the mathematical procedures recommended by the ISO documents the statistical criterion of acceptance testing is evaluated. It is shown that the using of this criterion allows to reach the purpose of the acceptance test on the construction site.
