Aggregates-the european approach to standardisation

The paper explains the framework for standardisation of aggregates for all uses inconstruction in the European Community, the influence of the Construction Products Directive and other documents issued by the European Commission, some problems which have arisen during the standards making process and how they have been dealt with by the European technical committee for aggregates CEN TC 154.
