Ready Mixed Concrete; a protagonist of the construction industry, is almost one hundred years old. Moving on from what has happened during the eighties and nineties, the paper outlines the foreseeable future of Ready Mixed Concrete from different points of view, covering mix design, production methods, equipment, customer-producer relationships, environmental impact and the European standards and regulations.
