Quality control of ready mixed concrete using the cement hydration equation

摘要

The cement hydration equation was applied on ready mixed concrete delivering from a 6 m~3 truck mixer in order to check the concrete quality and uniformity. The check was carried out on cubes prepared from the representative sample and compacted in the laboratory and in field by comparison of the accurate values (calculated with the aid of the cement hydration equation) of the designed mixture. According to the obtained results the proposed method can be useful for checking the quality and uniformity of concrete.
