摘要

Based on a formulation of the double-shearing constitutive assumption, a set of constitutive equations is developed for the quasi-static flows of granular materials. The deformation is assumed to consist of an elastic component and a plastic component. The elastic component obeys Hook's Law, while the plastic component is determined from the double-shearing model. The work makes it possible to develop a sophisticated numerical technique utilising the double-shearing theory.
