A review of UF_6 molecule photolysis investigations in laser radiation field of UV and IR ranges is presented in the report.Absorption spectra and excited states of UF_6 molecule in UV and IR ranges, the photolysis channels (monomolecular dissociation, predissociation, induced collision predissociation, bimolecular reactions of excited molecules with reagents), deactivation of molecules (fluorescence, quenching), general mechanisms of change of quantum yield of the photolysis depending on laser radiation rating and thermodynamic conditions of the mixture UF_6-reagents, buffering gas are considered.IR absorption spectra and equilibrium populations of vibration levels of UF_6 at ambient and low temperatures, data on multiphoton dissociation of UF_6 in 5μm and 16μm bands, influence of multifrequency radiation and reagents on yield and selectivity of the dissociation at laser molecular separation of uranium isotopes (MLIS, CRISLA) are presented.Data on UF_6 molecule photolysis in mix with hydrogen, halogens, halomethanes, alkanes and different buffering gases, also on influence of secondary reactions on the UF_6 molecule photolysis are cited.Laser equipment used for the UF_6 molecule photolysis and outlook of employment of UF_6 laser photolysis molecules in nuclear power-engineering are analyzed.
