The changing value of uniform width of a spectral resonance transition line in the molecular gas (vapors of molecular iodine) is experimental explored by the method of primary photon echo (PPE) in three events: a) gas is still and bases in the condition of thermodynamic balance, b) gas is moved toward the direction, complying with the direction of short-pulsed laser radiating, c) gas is moved in counter direction to the laser radiation. Strategy for the fixing fact of short-pulsed laser cooling a gas is designed on the base of tinning results.
