摘要

Femtosecond soliton propagation in a two-component delayed-response nonlinear cubic medium is investigated. Provided that the pulse duration exceeds the fast relaxation time and shorter than the slow one, mutual compensation is feasible of the relaxing nonlinearities acting on the soliton. A condition of such an optimal regime of the soli-ton pulse propagation is analytically obtained. Perturbation-induced interaction of two solitons and breather dynamics are numerically analyzed.
