摘要

A complete dual-onedimensional model for countercurrent oxidation and gasification of coal in a fixed or slowly moving bed has been developed. The gasification processes are considered at microscale and macroscale. The intraparticle diffusion-reaction and interparticle heat transfer processes are incorporated into this model. The loss of solid fragments by percolation is also considered. The model predictions are compared favourably with the experimental data available in the literature. The result of the present work can be useful for deciding on the system parameters to obtain optimum gasifier performance.
