In this paper, we present the characterization of three different Figaro gas sensors, TGS 832, TGS 813 and Tgs 800. These snesors were exposed to forane R134a, carbon dioxide and mixtures of these gases in synthetic air. They present different behaviors in term of steady-state value and dynamic response. This will lead to many informations which may be studied by to a pattern recognition method to discriminate between the different gases. We also have pointed out some drawbacks due to the contaminant and drift effects.
