Development of dynamic absorber for piping system using magnetic damper: application to pole structure

摘要

This paper deals with a vibration control device which is a dual-type dynamic absorber that uses a magnetic damping mechanism. The dynamic absorber was developed to reduce seismic response for power plant equipment and piping system. The effects of this dynamic absorber have already been verified through excitation tests using a simple straight pipe with a length of 2000mm.
