In this paper experimental results concerning the dependence of longitudinal sound velocity on tensile stress and bias magnetic field in Fe_(77.5)Si_(7.5)B_(15) amorphous wires used as magnetostrictive dealy line are presented. using magnetostrictive delay line technique, tensile stress applied along the lenth of the amorphous wire can be detected.
