Sensor applications of amorphous glass-covered wires

In this paper, we discuss the main operating principles for the applications of amorphous galss-covered wires based on their magnetic behavior. We also present two examples of new magnetic sensors based on such wires-a magnetic field sensor and a torsion sensor, which reveal the advantages of using these wires in sensor applications.
