Hydrologic problems and freshwater wetland creation

A freshwater wetland design should incorporate detailed wite evaluation, intricate surface water models, and substantial groundwater data. But sometimes "Mother Natur" does not want to cooperate with the design on paper. Using constructed wetland migiation sites as examples, this report focuses on some of the hydrologic problems related to site selection, contributing flow, vegetative selection, soil structure, and erosion control Recognizing and resolving these potential problems during the wetland creation design phase can minimize many construction, budget, and redesign problems.
