GIS data exchange for the hydrologic engineering center's hydraulic and hydrologic models

Hydraulic and hhdrologic (H&H) modeling begins with a definition of the physical system to be modeled-watersheds, river reaches, channel corss-sections, and so on. As part of the development of its next generation. of H&H models, the Hydrologic Engineering Center is developing a data-exchange format to provide a consistent means for transferrring these physical element descriptions between their H&H software packages and CADD and GIS prorams.
