The use of field failure data in accelerated testing

When an accelerated test is performed it is advantageous to investigate, whenever possible, any pertinent field failures. This was done in the COMRADE research project, the main aim of which was to establish a methodology for designing accelerated tests. A set of methods for collecting and analysing field failure data with the purpose of comparison to test results matured in the COMRADE research project, and these are presented here.
