Reliability estimation with censored data

摘要

The Kaplan-Meier estimator and the mean order median rank estimator are commonly used to estimate the survivor function in case of censored data. In this article these and other estimators are shown to be members of a class of estimators. Other estimators, in this cass are hoswn to give better results in case of right censored data than the Kaplan-Meier estimator, the mean order median rank estimator and other known estimators.
