摘要

Mechanical properties of pure iron after room temperatue rolling and gas nitriding were tested and the internal friction curves were measrued correspondingly.It was shown that deformation-nitriding has much better efect on strengthening and toughening of iron than signle cold rolling or nitridiing.The mechanism of such effect was discussed on basis of the dislocation substructure revealed by internal frication measurements.
