Influence of rare-earth contents on carburizing rate of steels and morphology of their carbides

摘要

Investigation of influence of rare-earth elements on carburizing rate and morphology of carbides were conducted with steels containing rare-earth elements. The results show that rare-earth elements increase the carburizing rate of the steels and result in even distributions of fine carbides.
