Abstract: Some physiological aspects of paradont structure andblood microcirculation are described. Results ofMonte-Carlo simulations of Doppler shift are presentedfor model of random medium that containing movingparticles. The single- layered and two-layeredconfigurations of the medium are considered. Dopplershift of the frequency of incident laser light isinvestigated as a function of such parameters asabsorption coefficient, scattering coefficient, andthickness of the medium. !6
