The slectiv enonatalytic reduction (SNCR) process is effective over a narrow "temperature window" centered at aobut 1250 K where the N agent (ammonia,urea,or cyanruic acid) forms NH_i radicals tha treact with NO.Under ideal labroatory conditions,deep NO_x ocntorl cna be achieved; however,in pracitcla full-scale installations,the nonuniformity of ht etemprature profile,difficulties of mixing the N agent acroiss the boiler cross section,limited rsidence time for reactiosn,and ammonia slip limit SNCR's effectiveness, to ,typically,about 40-50
