The nondestructive analysis of assembly composition containing nuclear materials without their destruction allows a substantial reduction in analysis time. Nondestructive assay makes it possible to conduct on-site measurements at nuclear product storage facilities or directly in the technological process of their production or reprocessing. This method allows repeated measurements on the same samples in cases of conflicting situations. The advantages of this method and its efficiency allowed for its use on an industrial scale for nondestructive testing of nuclear industry products. At some stages of technological processes to ensure the nuclear and radiation safety or to optimize a process before proceeding to the next cycle, it is necessary to assess the quantity of fissile materials in a product using nondestructive methods.
