Numerical holography with digital recording devices

Abstract: We describe here anew 3D numerical holographic method which allows intensity and phase contrast imaging. This technique involves a CCD camera as recording device and a numerical method for the reconstruction. We demonstrate here that, in spite of their low resolution, the recording capacities of standard CCD cameras are large enough for the holographic imaging of a few millimeter size objects. 9
