Abstract: A two step filtration based fluorometric device for continuous measurement of DDT residues is developed. The device which exploits the native fluorescence of DDT can be easily adopted to a commercial spectrofluorometer. The device was tested for its use in measuring DDT contamination in soil, potato peel and orange juice extracts and provides a detection limit approximately 1 $mu@M. !7
