摘要

In this work we extend the study of a recently introduced method to measure rotational diffusion times of spherical dipolar fluorescent molecules.Particularly,we present a detailed study for symmetric top fluorescent molecules in which the absorption and emission dipoles are coincident with the symmetry axis.We also nmuerically analyze the influence of finite laser pulse duration on the predicted measurable signal and on the overall sensibility of the technique.
