The Effect of Fuel Gas Condensation on PE Pipe Long-term Property

摘要

The results show that the resistance to aromatic hydrocarbon (>30 hours) and tensile strength (20.3MPa) of 5010H still meet the requirements of ISO 4437when applied to 10 year old pipes. Therefore it can be considered that the long-term hydrostatic strength of these 5010H does not be decrease. It also verifies that HDPE pipes can transfer fuel gas under the lower pressure, although this gas contains some organic impurities.
