Sea waves power converter

摘要

The paper describes the MWP Shannon Prototype Sea Waves Converter. Teh Converter consists of three pumps which convert wave motion into high pressure oil flow. The device has been designed to produce a minimum of 90kw continuous power. The maximum designed flow rate is about 1000 litres per minute at 200 bars which gives maximum peak power of 330kw.
