In general, the pulling force of conveyor belt is taken twice the static tension, it is unreason-able, This paper sysnthesizes two factors, the elastic deformity caused by tension and the change of suspending degree between supporting pulleys, probing into the calculation methods of the pulling force of conveyor belt. At first, deduce the deformity differential formula of conveyor belt. Then obtain the calculation formula of pulling force, All of these render a reliable foundation to determine the pulling force accurately.
