Belt conveyor has become main transporting equipment for bulk material because of its iarger capacity and higher efficiency than other transporting modes. In order to meet the need of coal mine, we research and develop new technique and new product end to end. This paper involves one branch------curving belt conveyor. Explore the application feasibility to realize curving belt conveyor in coal mine. Analyzes and researches the main technical characters of curving belt conveyor and optimum combination of its important units. Base on these researches, reporter hold that, comparison with other transporting modes, curving belt conveyor has many advantages such as low investment, high efficiency and working safety on occasion of bulk material transportation in curving tunnel, especially of spiral upward transportation.
