Analysis and calculation of leakage in-flooded rotary compressor

Leakage is a very important factor which greatly influences the performance of rotary compressors. Based on analyzing the lfow in leaking clearance, the criteria of flow states in the clearances of an oil-flooded single screw compressor ae presented. The leaking model and the mathematicla formulas of flow rates are also given in this paper. In the end, a test is carried out to confirm the mathematicla model and the results show that this modle conforms to the actual situation of the compressor.
