The Study of a Regional Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Satellite Communication System

摘要

In this paper, we presented the main study results of a regional (China) LEO satellite communication system. This system's constellation uses inclined circular orbit, its constellation scheme is: 18/6/2 (walker code), height of orbit is 1666km. This system's main characters are: star topology, CDMA/FDMA, QPSK, FEC (rate 1/2, k=7). The link budget and capacity are also calculated at the last of this paper.
