Abstract: In this paper, the effect of CeO$-2$/ on the cladded Ni-base alloy coatings was studied. Based on a comparison of the microstructure and properties of laser cladded coatings containing CeO$-2$/ or without it, it is clear that the addition of CeO$-2$/ can refine the microstructure, increase the microhardness, deduce the inclusion percentage and modify the friction and wear properties. A discussion was also offered in this paper. !7
