Generating the human piano performance in virtual space

Piano performance requires dynamic hand-finger movements. Sincethe movements are constrained due to the anatomical components, such astendons and skeletons, the movements in piano performance are quitecomplicated, and that makes it difficult to master this instrument. Itis clear that to observe good examples of performance is helpful forlearning. For this purpose, we develop a system that shows us the mostappropriate example of performance for any given scores. In thisarticle, we discuss several algorithms used in our system, whichgenerate a kind of optimal movements of hands and fingers at the pianoperformance
