Laser monitoring of aerosol pollution of air basin of industrial centers

Abstract: A scanning single-frequency aerosol lidar is described in which a system of control, recording, and processing of information is based on a personal computer. The problem of processing the lidar returns with instrumental noise is considered. The examples of lidar application to monitoring of the spatiotemporal distribution of aerosol polluting fields, as well as determining the strength of emissions from stacks of local pollution sources are considered. !15
