Abstract: The Remote Consultation Information System is a body-worn fully integrated communication system that provide secure two-way voice-quality audio, secure full-color video transmission, automatic position location (APL) via Global Positioning System, and vital life signs moitoring, all linked to an adaptable base station via spread-spectrum low-probability-of- intercept, Broadband Code Division Multiple Access radio link. All of these technologies have been developed by the defense and intelligence communities and are now availbale for law enforcement agencies. !0
