Abstract: Head-Up Displays have been used worldwide for almost 30 years in over 10,000 aircraft. Helmet-Mounted Displays exist in less than 500 aircraft, most of which are helicopters. This paper examines some of the tradeoffs involved in the selection of each type of display and their related performance comparisons.!0
