The co-existence of the new low Earth orbit (LEO) satellitenetworks and other radiocommunication systems must be assured whendesigning and implementing them. However, to compute interferenceapplying the classical link budget equations it is necessary to know thedistance between a Tx and a victim Rx, which is not easy to accomplishin the interference environments involving LEO satellites because thelength of the propagation paths change as the satellites move. The ITU-Rhas proposed a simulation methodology based on modeling of the dynamicmotion equations of the satellites to overcome this problem. However, the drawback of this methodology is the long computer time required toobtain statistically significant results. Therefore, we propose anenhanced simulation methodology. Here we optimize the ITU-R methodologyby using a new criteria to estimate interference levels based on aprobabilistic model of the distance between a Tx and a victim Rx
