摘要

Inhaled nitric oxide (INO) therapy was evaluated with a model of neonatal lung disease. INO was effective in treatment of primary pulmonary hypertension at doses of 20 and 80 ppm. Severe parenchymal lung disease would respond if 20 ppm INO could eliminate pulmonary shunts. INO may be ineffective for less severe disease compared to oxygen support.
