摘要

A novel technique based on recursive successive interferencecancellation (RSIC) is proposed for cancelling intersymbol interference(ISI) and multiple access interference (MAI), which adversely affect theperformance of shallow water acoustic networks (SWAN). Conventionalstructures employing decision feedback equalisation (DFE) are known tobe effective for intersymbol interference reduction. However, if thereare one or more interfering users, the DFE performs inadequately inextracting the useful signal for the weaker user. The performance isfurther degraded due to power control inefficiency. The simulationresults presented in this paper demonstrate the ability of the RSICstructure in mitigating the effect of MAI, ISI and power controlinefficiency
