Application of the TMS320E17 DSP in a low power speech scrambler

This paper describes a demonstration voice scrambling unitdeveloped by the Centre for Communications Research at BristolUniversity, in conjunction with British Telecom. The scramblingtechnique and its practical implementation are outlined. Particularattention is given to the circuit implementation and techniques adoptedto minimise power consumption
